South Dakota is home to some incredible outdoor adventures, and now a new program is helping the next generation discover them firsthand.
The South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation’s Youth Ambassador Program is connecting young people with the outdoors through hands-on experiences, leadership opportunities, and conservation education.
Kristina Coby, the Executive Director of the South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation, joined KELOLAND Living in the studio along with youth ambassadors, Peter Helken and Emma DeMarteleare. Two more youth ambassadors, Ali Dagit and Claire Jennings joined via Zoom.
